Over 1000 participants from 36 countries attended the conference and exhibition in Amsterdam on 24-25 November 2010 including representatives from 158 international utilities a total of 45% were trading professionals or senior representatives from Europe's largest utilities. Another important outcome was that 67% of the audience find that their national government does not stimulate renewable energy according to its best cost/ performance ratio.
This 23% increase shows once again that EMART Energy 2010 is Europe's leading platform for energy trading professionals!

Over 2 days with more than a hundred contributions from representatives from many trading companies throughout Europe, TSO's, regulators, power exchanges and banks.
The conference delegates gained helpful information and practical insight on the developments towards harmonizing the European power markets in terms of pricing, market coupling, regulatory issues, emissions trading, risk management and much more.
An important note, during the official opening session was that 66% of the delegates voted to believe that the regional energy markets will migrate to a truly pan European market. However only 48% believed that renewable energy will be integrated in the energy market within the next ten years.
